Why do difficult times sometimes lead to positive change?

On 16 December, the Architectural MeetUp Ukraine — Not Cheaper, but Smarter: From Resilience and Sustainability to Cultural Identit took place at MacPaw Space.

As part of the event, a panel discussion titled Architecture at the Edge: The Cost of Compromise and a Vision for the Future was held. The conversation explored the paradox of innovation in difficult times, the development of Ukrainian architecture not thanks to circumstances but in spite of them, and the principles that architects will never compromise on in their profession.
